As I recall, the instructions said they could be installed either way.
Also, there is a heat shield on them, and you can flip that either
way, depending on whether you wanted to keep the heat off the
floor or off the debris on the street.

Boy I'm a fountain of knowledge now that I don't have a car!

Second question. In looking at the cats.  I  know some cats have a flow
design .. and are marked accordingly.

These cats have no flow design and look identical either side. I assume it
doesnt matter which end goes were.
