Personally, I let mine turn over for about 3-5 seconds.  If it's colder I
may go a little longer.  Like this morning the temp was a whopping 0:F so I
let it go a little longer.

BTW, I don't think you'll have any trouble building pressure since the oil
is so thick when it's cold.  This is more to help ensure that oil is
available to the rod bearings and other moving parts... especially during
those cold winter mornings when the oil is really thick and doesn't feel
like moving.  Picture honey... only thicker.

This worked for me tonight in 4F weather.  Just how many cranks do I need to
do to build up some oil pressure?
