My first car was an 83 RX-7. I locked my keys in it once in the driveway 
of my friend's parents house. I'm not sure why I decided it would work, 
but I pulled out my swiss army knife, flicked out the large slot 
screwdriver/bottle opener stuck it in the key slot. With light twisting 
pressure and a little up & down wiggle I had it open in about ten 
seconds. I don't know if my lock was worn out, or if early Mazda's had 
crappy locks. We were both highly amused.
