Nevermind - found it in my own old emails from Jeff, Jeremy, and Russ. See
below posts from last August.

  Hi Mike,

I believe that this is GM part #12456148, available for less than
$8. from www.gmpartsdirect.com , or ~$12. from a dealer.
It's non-adjustable, and IMO looks like a cheap piece of crap that
doesn't fit well.
There was a discussion on SHOforum about this very auction, but I
think it was deleted after the seller was called a thief, the bid
retraction was made, and it got ugly.

I would tell the seller that you're not interested in the bar, that
it was misrepresented and wasn't made for your SHO, and that you'll
give him the same if he gives you negative feedback. If he files a
non-paying bidder claim with Ebay to get a refund of the auction fees,
tell Ebay about the misrepresentation and send them the email (with
complete header) in which you were told that modification was
necessary. Worst case scenario; you get a negative feedback comment
and a non-paying bidder warning (three and you can be suspended) but
keep your $74.99.

Not exactly. It was the opinion of many that this was a way to jerry rig a
STB. The part doesn't exactly bolt in and the effects are not concrete. The
part is from GMPartsnetwork. They cost a total of like $20 for both bars.
They don't bolt directly in, you have to drill holes in your strut tower
then
bolt these in. Some swear by them, others just laugh.....

I have one on my front and I will be the first to say that it helps more
than nothing. I will also be the first to say that it's not as good as
the $150 ShoShop model. It does cost $125 less if you buy a brand new
one with shipping though.

All you have to do is install it over the inner-most strut studs and
elongate one of the mounting holes on the bar itself (unless you've had
your camber changed).

Very simple and VERY cheap mod... It will stiffen up the front end
considerably for a modest amount of money and labor.
