Then unfortunately, there's nothing more we can do.  I recently saw
someone else post his own auction specifically to inform people of the
scam (anyone on this list?), but that's against eBay's rules as well. 
Let that be a lesson to everyone reading this:  If you see a private
auction for a low buck item, be wary!  Private auctions are to protect
the identities of people bidding on high dollar items.  A private
auction on a low dollar item is simply to keep people from educating the
unsuspecting bidders.
