My '91 has what I believe is the original clutch at ~105K. (Mileage is an
estimate because of speedo cable problem.) Recently it has developed a
crunchy feel and makes a pop when depressed when cold. It still engages a
couple inches off the floor and still has about the same 1" free play at the
top. No trouble shifting or engaging gears.
Does this sound like a cable problem?
