Most car dealers have a shop in the same town that fixes their radios for them.
 There is a contract between the shop and the dealer to set it up..the shop
does warranty work, and gets paid by Ford (in our case) to do the work.  They
will fix your radios and whatever else assuming parts are available.  Since
there were TONS of these CD systems, they should be able to fix them.  Ask your
local Ford dealer service manager where they send their warranty radio repairs.
 

You might want to be prepared for some expensive charges.....it cost me $90 to
have the dial light in my '87 Mustang's cassette deck replaced.  It might be
better if you got an aftermarket name brand changer that used an FM modulator
to play over a radio frequency you select on your FM dial.
