Subject: [Shotimes] 96 Brake upgrade question

> I was wondering if anyone out there knew if the Ford part number for the
caliper bracket was still F60Z-2B134-AA. I have been hunting for the bracket
and every parts store I have dealt with either says they don't have it or
they say that they do but they have the same part number as the SLO. I
finally gave up and went to the only stealership in the area that said that
they had it. When I got there I asked them to double check it was for a 96
SHO and the guy said that it was but for some reason it was bouncing back
and fourth between the SHO and a Lincoln. The ones I got for $70.25 a piece
have the part number F6DZ-2B292-BA and are the same ones that I already have
on the car so there too small with the big rotors. Thanks for any help.

the passenger side drive shaft snapped off and they ground each other to
almost nothing and I'm getting the shaft tomorrow and would like to do the
brakes at the same time.
