[Shotimes] Can I just take my intake to the car wash?

If the Berryman's doesn't get it, a car wash spray won't either.

Plus, if you spray the car wash wand after the Berrymans, Berrymans will get
splashed everywhere!! In the eyes and other sensitive areas would not be
pleasant.....nor back on to your car!!

I finally got around to fixing my 332 CE light today. I pulled it apart per
the FAQ and looked for the two 'nostrils' I didn't see them. After some
furious spraying with Berryman's, I can finally see them. They are both
completely clogged. I pulled the little plugs out of the end and the bottom
of the passageway that leads to the EGR valve and cannot dislodge the crud!
I tried coat hangers, screw drivers and I have made just a small dent in the
blockage.

was the procedure I followed.

Anyhow, can I just cover up the DIS and take the intake to my local
self-serve car wash and blast away? What I'm planning on doing is
alternating Berryman's and steaming hot, soapy water. Any downsides?
