[Shotimes] Can I just take my intake to the car wash?

Paul,

I had the same problem and I used compressed air combined with the
Berrymans.  I squirted a little Berrymans in the pasageway opening in the
back of the intake then used the air hose wrapped with tape so it would seal
up around the opening.  After a few seconds of air, I'd use a flexible brush
in the passage then repeat the sequence.  After doing that several times I
finally heard a small pop and I could see Berrymans and air coming out of
the openings in the intake.  I mopped up the excess Berrymans with a rag,
put it all back together again and no more CE light.

was the procedure I followed.

Anyhow, can I just cover up the DIS and take the intake to my local
self-serve car wash and blast away? What I'm planning on doing is
alternating Berryman's and steaming hot, soapy water. Any downsides?
