[Shotimes] Fuel Injector Cleaner

Do you use the techron just before the oil change?   I try to use a bottle
just before every oil change.  The reason I say before is that I read
somewhere, and it says on the bottle that it contaminates the oil.

Yup, Techron is the way to go.  That's part of my regular car service
routine.  Every 3K miles my cars get an oil & filter change, rotate tires,
grease each zerk and a bottle of Techron.

Chevron Techron has been recommended for years.  I also use
Amsoil PI (Performance Improver) gas additive.  Both do an
excellent job.  BTW, I am an Amsoil dealer if you want to
order, some, or there are several other SHO owners that are
Amsoil dealers (I helped get some of them started as dealers!)

I think a bottle every third tank of so is not overkill,
although I admit, I don't add it that often, just forget to
do it.

If you use premium fuel from BP (Amoco) and other name
brands, they usually have a cleaner built in.  I have also
found it not necessary to run premium, or even 89 octane in
my mostly stock SHO's.
