[Shotimes] Ride Height

Damn, my eyes are just getting uncrossed from a very long discussion of this
on another car list!! ;-)
What I basically have come up with is to measure from the ground to the
center of the fenderwell opening. Yes, also changing to a shorter wheel/tire
combo affects that, but so what? Most folks just change the springs/struts,
then do the tire/wheel deal another time. You then get a measurement that
represents the strut/spring change.
Even if you do the wheel/tire thing the same time as the strut spring, what
really matters is the overall drop, anyway.
FWIW, when I installed the Koni/Eibach combo in my former '95, I got a 1"
front drop, and a 1/4" rear RAISE. Now, I had a cocked stock front strut
mount, so the front of the car sat higher tan most stock '95s anyway. I
figure the Eibachs do the 3/4" front drop on a "normal" strut.
The thing I really like about Eibachs (this is my 2nd SHO with Eibachs) is
the nice "rake" that they provide to the SHO. Looks good on any Gen 1 or 2.

Subject: [Shotimes] Ride Height
Does anyone have a general idea of the ride height, stock and eibach? I know
there are quite a few variables to this question.
But for discussion sake, lets say take the measurement through the wheel/hub
centerline from the ground to the bottom of the wheel opening front and
rear.
The Helms manual doesn't seem to help much. Just trying to do some
comparison.
My 95 is 27 inches front and rear.
Thanks
