Mine was at 125,000 when I replaced it.  It looked good when I removed it.  You won't have to worry about any valve damage if it breaks, though, just a tow home or to a shop.

Guys/gals:
Wondering about the life of a timing belt in an ATX. What is the longest
anyone has gone past the 100k mile mark?
I'm trying to get another 10k miles (total 110k) out of mine. Anybody run
past that?
