Exactly! That's what happened on my SHO's left rear pinch bolt last
month... except it happened while in use sometime, not while trying to
change the strut. I can't drill straight, so I ended up taking the whole
thing off and back to by brother-in-law's shop, with a vise and lots of tool
options.

There's no nut. The bolt threads into one side of the pinch. The bolt
broke
right under the head. Itta been easy if there was a nut!
