[Shotimes] Antenna Question

I finally got around to putting my replacement antenna in that I "thought"
worked. Well, it dosen't.. it is a yard antenna from a front end hit, but the
guy showed me it worked before I bought it. Is there a fuse somewhere? or is
it in the radio? I have an aftermarket alpine, and the antenna USED to work..
so I think I'lm gonna get an autozone antenna to put in...any thoughts? the
SHO is apart as I type..
