[Shotimes] ECT description & location

Just reminded me of the other symptom I was trying to cure - my fan not
coming on by itself, only with the A/C. Was looking for JvO's post as
this one came through...
Could you elaborate on the datalogger setup? Laptop needed?

It's the big one, towards the firewall side of the housing.
Interestingly, since logging info off the EEC, mine (probably never
changed,
came on the 3.2L when I bought it) at 130k or so now mileage-wise,
shows up
on the datalogger as the exact same temp the autometer water gauge
shows.
So both are at least accurate...(although the fan always comes on 5
degrees
sooner than what you program) lol
