While working my way through college, I sold cars for awhile, Cal
Worthington no less. It was amazing how everything was tied together;
certain options required other options that made no apparent sense. I
recall in one case a moonroof required HD brakes or cooling or something????
As for the heavier springs, probably for Sable which has ~50-100 lbs of
weight on the Taurus, also the wagon took different rates.
