DAve,

I guess you have never run into a real balance problem.  I 
have had two sets of tires saved by a good balance on the 
car, and contrary to what you have heard, it has almost 
nothing to do with the brake disk/drum/hub getting balanced 
at the same time.  It has to do with running the tire up to 
speeds MUCH faster than on any wheel balancer.  Those 
machines usually go no faster than maybe a real 20-40 mph? 
Where are these problems occuring?  At 60+!!!!

On the car balancing is a real solution.  The guy should not 
be steered wrong by those that don't believe.  Real world 
results are what count for me.

On the car balancing might not solve his problem, but is is 
the BEST place to start his search for a solution.
