[Shotimes] Power Steering Pump

Blake,

Don't know if you got it done already but, this is what worked for me when I
did mine a few weeks ago. The three bolts on the front of the p/s pump are
not too bad to get to, the fourth bolt on the back of the pump was a
chalange.
Although all the instructions say to remove the rear passenger side motor
mount, I couldn't get to the horizontal mount bolts due to the exhaust, so,
I only removed the "vertical" bolt mount nut, jacked up the engine, which
moved everthing up alowing a bit more access, laid towles on top of the
engine, using my smallest wratchet, got the fourth bolt out.
The pump came out without removing the motor mount or cam sensor.
Hope it helps.

Ed

> My p/s pump is shot. Every manual that I have seen says that you have to
remove the rear passenger side motor mount to take it out. I was looking at
it today and it looks like the pump mount is bolted to the mount bracket.
It also looks like that if I remove the cam sensor that I may be able to
jocky the pump out without removing the mount. I am going to be doing it
tommorow morning so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I noticed
that there are no pictures or description on how to do the p/s pump on the
site and I was wondering if I took pictures of mine and did a write up on it
how I would get it on the site. Thanks in advance.
