Grassroots Motorsports puts on a competition every year where competitor
have to put together cars for under a set dollar amount (the year) and
compete in an autocross, a drag race and a councours. Anyhow, SHO power was
represented well.
The 5th place car was a 1988 Ford Festiva/SHOgun that the guy spent a total
of $1896.25. It did 14.040 in the quarter.
42nd place was a 1986 Toyota MR2 with a SHO motor which the guy spent
$2001.59 total on and it turned 18.293 in the quarter.
