Bruce,

Buy an SA2000 helmet.  May cost more, but you can use it 
anywhere.  M2000 won't be acceptable at SCCA events.

Buy a good helmet for about $200 and you won't regret it 10 
years down the road when it still fits right and feels/looks 
good.  Cheap helmets will be falling apart long before then.
