[Shotimes] when it rains it pours

So, after spending a weekend and a couple of days doing the front
suspension on Car a week ago, I was looking forward to spending
some quality time with my kids this past weekend. Not to be.

Thursday coming home from work I hear some particularly nasty
grinding from the passenger side rear brakes. So I go get new rotors,
pads, and slider pins from NAPA. Sure enough, one of the slider
pins was frozen. The inside pad finally wore down to the metal.
Not pretty. Also found a drivers side pin frozen, but the pad hadn't
started to wear down appreciably yet. Now I've got all new brakes
all the way around too.

BTW, I'm pretty impressed with the NAPA dealer I went to. They had
everything I needed in stock, including all the front end stuff. Of
course, that's not really a fair statement because most of the front
end stuff was the stuff I returned in January when Old Car was
totalled. In fact, the control arm boxes had pieces of my rear
window in them. All the parts were in the trunk when it got hit.
How's THAT for deja vu!
