[Shotimes] FW: Thrush Turbo Mufflers

You may get rasp. BUT....the big trick with ANY V6 muffler is to get the
longest, fattest resonator/glasspack the muffler shop has, and replace the
stock resonator. If you recall, my '95 had super-el-cheapo glasspacks for
mufflers, but with that fat resonator there was NO raspiness whatsoever. On
this '94 with the full Dynomax catback, it is raspy.

The Thrush Turbos could work fine, even some sub-$10 glasspacks will work,
just get a bigger resonator. Some folks have even welded TWO glasspacks in
place of the resonator. Get the longest/fattest one that you can get into
the resonator space.

Im thinking about buying the Thrush Turbo Mufflers for my 91 SHO. What
size do I need? 2 inch or 2 < inch? I had these on my V8 SHO and
thought they were too mild for that car, but on my v6 I think they might
have the right balance of being not too loud but aggressive enough. Any
thoughts?

Thanks,
