Yeah, but:

1.  Struts aren't something you do that often, so occasion emotional &
physical abuse from that job is not even a yearly experience.

2.  The cost of my house & lot, versus the cost of a similar CA house & lot,
can pay for a LOT of SHO work at standard shop rates!!

I totally sympathize with you all back there with rusty cars, but for me,
what they
charge here for suspension swaps feels a lot nicer in MY pocket.
