[Shotimes] Porterfield R4S Question

Go to the SHOtimes FAQ, look under Modifying the Taurus SHO, then to Brakes,
and then to Gary Morrell's Brake Series.

He explains seasoning rotors and bedding new pads. Basically, though, it is
doing 6-8 stops from 60-5 mph, or until the pads are smoking (and you can
smell them). I then drive for awhile, use the brakes gently, and park it
without using the parking brake.

Subject: [Shotimes] Porterfield R4S Question

I'm putting PFCM pads on my '89 today. (stock, not upgraded) Rotors are
being
re-surfaced. What is the 'bedding' procedure please? I remember it being
mentioned about 2 months ago. Was it 2 or 3 hard stops from 60 MPH?

TIA, BB-NYC '89
