Adam, unless you really want to, there's no need to reinvent the wheel with
this whole EATC replacement deal.

There's been a lot of info posted on the SHO Forum about it, and there's a
guy who has instructions, or will solder any late model Ford EATC to fit the
SHO for like $30. Do some looking around, a lot of what you are finding has
already been researched.

Subject: [Shotimes] More on the EATC Research...

Someone mentioned that the EATC I was looking at had different buttons and
may
not fit...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33545
&
item=2422767544

This unit has Max/AC, Norm A/C, Vent, Flor, Floor-Def, and Def

The other unit on ebay,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=42612
&
item=2422675491

Has the same button line up as our SHOs, and I called the stealer, and we
identified it being from a 99 Expidition or similar truck.... SO, my
thoughts
are, this unit MAY work... I"m doing more research to find out....if it
does,
this would make a great upgrade on top of the unit with the 95 buttons for
anyone who's AWA has broken your buttons more than what they were with
fingernails... :)
I'll keep you guys posted
