Help. Got the a/c line replaced today at the shop, drove her 3 miles in
stop & go traffic back to work; temp gauge was at about the "O" when I shut
her off, so it was probably about ready to engage the radiator fan; ETAC was
still in "auto" mode. After sitting about 20 minutes, went out, noticed the
temp gauge was straight up; tried to start, ran about 2 seconds and quit,
tach never moved. Tried a few more times; noticed the fuel pump wasn't
priming. Pulled key out, noticed the oil/abs/etc... lights were doing a dim
little dance, and heard kind of a "ticking" from under the hood. Couldn't
trace the noise - unhooked the + side of the battery for 5 minutes, held the
brake pedal down for a couple of those to try to reset the PCM. Hooked up
the battery, kind of heard a faint noise like a stuck electric motor or
solenoid from the driver's side of the engine compartment, same location as
the ticking. Is my CCRM toast? Did the mechanics forget to hook something
up? Having noises and dancing lights with no key in the ignition really
wigs me out....
