[Shotimes] Vacuum canister and A/C Questions

Hello,
Tried posting this a few days ago but didn't hear anything back. Not sure if
it went through.

I need some assistance trouble shooting ..the vacuum canister on the back of
the intake that is part of the system that opens the short intake runners
and a question on A/C.

Vacuum Canister
At one time the vacuum nipples were marked with yellow and white dots. Well
I now have 2 white dots. These nipples are also marked A & B on the vacuum
canister.   Can someone confirm the appropriate routing of the short vacuum
line from the intake to the vacuum canister.  Currently my short line from
the intake is connected to the ' B 'nipple.

The other question I have is determining if this vacuum canister is
functioning properly. I saw from a previous post if it rattles you have a
problem. My doesn't rattle.. but

When my short hose from the intake is connected to nipple A the short
runners do not open when the engine is revered. When connected to nipple B
they open at idle.

When I use my vacuum gun on the canister ( removed canister from car). When
connected to nipple A it holds vacuum. When connected to nipple B it doesn't
hold vacuum.

When I apply vacuum to the vacuum line connecting the switch to open the
intake runners, one side ( radiator side ) opens fully the other about 50%.
I intended to clean the intake and butterflies. Have the gaskets at hand to
do this. Any suggestions on how this part is suppose to work is welcome.

A/C

My A/C system appears to be shutting off. The refrigerant level appears OK,
no leaks based on the hooking up the pressure gauges at a shop about a month
ago. No codes  appear when I run the diagnostic. The low pressure side
reading is 40 psi with the gauge I have...  range 25-40

>From the posts this past week the info on the A/C appears.  I noticed that
when following a wide open throttle the A/C clutch didn't re-engage.

I checked the ambient temp sensor in the car located above the glove box).
The ohms appear out of spec for the temp 30 C  I left my manual where I
wrote the reading down up at the lake. My recollection is the reading for
was higher than it should be. I checked the ohms while the sensor was in the
car. Pulled off the name plate and put the probes on the sensor. Not sure if
doing this gives me an accurate reading. This sensors appears to be a PIA to
remove.
The question I have is can the ambient temp sensor mess up the operation of
the A/C.
