    Suspension upgrades and hp will drop you lap times a little.  Track
tires and good brakes will make your lap times fall like a rock, and a
quaife will as well.  I'd run the quaife car.

My 92 was 4 secs a lap faster at summit point with khumo V700 track tires
compared to street SP8000's (and I ran my PP Ypipe and Pro M 77mm MAF with
the street tires, with the track tires I was totally stock!).  4 secs is a
HUGE difference, think about running 100 mph past the start finish line and
count 4 secs to the car behind you and see how distant he is.

Tom Smith has a 91 with a stock 3.0L motor, full weight 91 plus.  Same
suspension/brakes/tires as my 89 has.  I've ran with tom and his car isn't
much slower than my 89.  Quaife/track tires/brakes on a SHO will get you
around a track quicker than anything else.  Brakes/tires more than anything,
but the quaife makes a big difference to.
