You probably only have to adjust the cluch. Turn the car and AC on and let it run for awhile. Observe the clutch and you will probably notice it stop at some point. After this happens turn off your car, remove the clutch. Inside you will probably see 3 spacers that look like washers. Remove the two smaller once and put the clutch back on. I had this happen also and got the info from the SHO times list. My AC has worked like a charm ever since ( about two year ago ) and I live in the south. So I use it almost daily.
