FYI: I'm NOMAIL, so I'm doing this via a Web Browser access. Please reply directly with any specific comments/questions.
A bit of History:
Four years ago, the rear sway bar-to-body bushings were $25.- each at Ford. The Energy Suspension 1" kit was $28. I went with the E.S. kit and Addco end-links (Pep-Boys).
This spring I had had enough.
I went to Ford. The bar-to-body bushings are not only discontinued, they are no longer listed! Yikes!
So, I called up PST. Graphite impregnated body bushings, 1 1/16th. Ordered them.
Called up Hellwig. Ordered a part-by-part kit for a 8" center-to-center end link kit.
I finally installed them this weekend.
WOW! I will be posting pictures when I get around to creating a WEB site. The ride is smooth, not choppy. No more clunks or squeeks. The car is MUCH flatter in the turns in spite of my 22mm front bar.
Obviously, the body bushings fit better. The 1/2" longer end-link kit fits better. The real difference: The end-link kit design. It uses a 7/16" bolt instead of 3/8" with bushings that are flat on BOTH sides. This way the bushing can't roll with side-to-side suspension deflection and it reacts immediately since there is no small sections to compress first.

I wish I had done this 4 years ago!
