[Shotimes] Looking for an active list.

Unless they all went NOMAIL, they should answer when they get back.

$1500 should buy a lot of good parts, can you elaborate on exactly what you
had done? Is your car an ATX or MTX? If the former, the suspension tuning on
those is by definition softer than the latter. The Monroes are NOT liked by
people on this list. Tokico, Koni or newer KYBs are okay too.

The brakes on the 93s are still the lousy original design. The 95s and 94s
had a redesign that was the best system on the original SHOs other than going
for the 96 upgrade, or something more exotic like Baer or Wilwoods.

If you have a lot of play in the steering, you may have loose U-joints in the
steering column. There's one by the firewall on the inside and one further up
towards the steering wheel.

Check your subframe bushings. They are rubber and if never replaced on a 10
year old car, they cause problems. Did your car have the recall done to
replace the rear subframe bolts?

I'm just slinging stuff, so you'll have to provide more info to get better
answers.

Since the problem occurs under acceleration, it could also be one or both of
the half-shafts is bad.

Finally, if you're located near one of the SHO gurus, it might be worth a
visit to one of them to get a more educated first hand evaluation of the
problems you are having.

Cheers,
Carl P.
