[Shotimes] Front Crank Seal - related question ?

How do you get the front crank seal in?   I put one in when i did cps, and
I'm pissin oil like nobody's business..  Is there some sort of method, tool,
grease, etc that you need to use to get it in properly?  What did I do?  I
shoved it in there, and pushed it around with a screwdriver until it went in
...
