[Shotimes] Broken steering column?

Yeah, I was suspicious of this as well, though this is at a towing company's
lot. They are getting a title on the car, as I believe it was either an
impound or a no-parking-zone parked car that hasn't been claimed. They do
jobs for the Cincinnati Police, so I'd imagine if the car was stolen that it
would have been an issue by now since they are in the process of getting a
abandonment title. That goes through the state and I'm pretty sure they check
the records. Also, does anyone know if Ford officially calls the Plus a SHO
Plus? I was thinking about getting a letter from Ford stating it was a
limited production vehicle to make it eligable for Collector plates.. it would
be a special use only car! :)

I'm curious if anyone has ever seen this before... the Plus that I'm
thinking about buying is MISSING its ignition cylinder (the key
tumbler) and
it has part of the housing that holds it in, broken off. What and how
does
it get replaced to fix this issue. The car runs and drives, but
requires a
bit metal pole to turn the part that starts it!!
Thanks,
~Chris
