I wish...living in Helena MT....Ford was the only
place that could even find an ignition module for my
car. Then I was told that my car was built with a
"California Emission and Sports Package"...all I know
about that was that when my computer fried two years
ago. I couldn't get a replacement. They stopped making
them (for california SHO's) 6 years ago. Whether or
not I got screwed is still debatable. There was a
number on there (the computer) that usually ends in
"S"....mine was "SR" or whatever. Anyway, point of the
story is, no one, not Autozone, Checker, Kragen,
Champion, or Napa could find an ignition module for a
91 SHO AND match the part numbers. All my part numbers
on the parts off the car are different in their
computers. Ex. CPU, EGR valve, Crank and Cam PS, DIS
module.....So what does this mean???? I have no
idea...but I can still tell ya that the "broken
plastic box" is putting it lightly...
