Kurt, in his humbleness, forgot to mention that he got the Popular Vote
Award for Best Engine in the Car SHOw, not to mention scoring well enough in
the judging for a Gold Award. His car's under the hood area is not only
tastefullly and beautifully done, it is extremely clean! He got my vote!
Good job, Kirk!

And to keep the record straight, a 15K+ '95 Stock Crimson Red MTX was judged
Best of Gen II. My '93 Non-Stock Crimson Red ATX was voted Best of SHOw in
the Popular Vote. As Kurt mentioned the '89 Currant Red with 8.5K was
judged Best of Gen I and Best of SHOw by the judges. A beautiful '96
Toreador Red SHO was judged Best of Gen III.

Do we see a pattern here? It was the year of the Red SHOs at the convention
Car SHOw! There were plenty of other beautiful cars in the SHOw. The
judges did a fine job with a thankless task. I couldn't thank them enough
for "volunteering". If you couldn't make the convention, you missed some
fine cars.

It was another great convention over all! As usual, the Mallinson's put
lots of hard work and love into it and it SHOwed. Enjoyed seeing everyone
again. Believe me, after 9 conventions we go to see the people a lot more
than we go to check out the cars.

See everyone in California.
