Les,
Gorgeous car. You got a good deal on that one. I paid 3800 (US) for a 53,000
mi '89 in Nov '99. From the pix your's looks in even better shape than mine
was.
Since then I've done a clutch, new ShoShop billet flywheel and rear strut tower
brace, Josh T ceramic TOB and reinforced motor and tranny mounts, rear crank
seal, all new coolant and vacuum hoses, plugs, wires, aluminum SFB's, water
pump, power steering pump, front crank seal, CPS, CV joints, timing and
accessory belts, brakes, tires, K&N panel, heater core, and all new A/C lines.
All I've got left (I think) is a new cat-back system and some cosmetic body
work. All that and it's still cheaper to own than a new car. (and a helluva lot
of fun)

Good luck!

Hello, everyone...I just thought I'd take a moment and say hi and introduce
myself.

My name is Les and after searching around, I finally found my SHO. It's an '89
in relatively good condition. 125,000 km on the odo (78,000ish miles) with no
squeaks, rattles or moans. At the moment, anyways. I've got some quick photos
uploaded if anyone cares to see it but it's no where near being complete.

There are a few things needing to be done at the moment, which I may post if I
have problems.

Anyways, nice to meet you all and look forward to sharing with the list.

Leslie Nielsen,

Now stalking the streets and highways of Langley, BC. :)
