[Shotimes] anti-lock light

Kevin, Ken's instructions are spot on. Just jumper the pins on the Anti Lock
Test connector that Ken mentions. Then go in the car and basically perform a
KOEO test. You'll see the Anti-Lock light flash similar to the way the Check
Engine light flashes for the EEC diagnostics.
The shop manual says that if you drive over 40 MPH with no error conditions
present, the codes will get cleared, so it is best to pull the codes after the
light comes on during driving conditions. Turn the car off, apply the jumper
and then pull the codes.
>From my observations and what I discussed privately with Ken, it is likely you
will see multiple codes presented. There is usually a single primary reason
the light will come on, with a cascading effect on downstream areas that will
give you what are in essence false readings. Figuring out which is the
primary cause is the tough part of the job.
And yes, I consider this a candidate for the FAQ.
