A 225/55/16 should be fine if you say that your SHO is at least a '91 (with
16" wheels & 215/60/16). 

They look at the stock tire load rating. Here they are for Goodyear Tires:

215/65/15:	1,510 #s
215/60/16:	1,411 #s
225/50/16:	1,367 #s
225/55/16:	1,477 #s

last time I ordered 225/50's (or 225/55's for that matter!) from tire rack I
had to jump through hoops in regards to them not being sized right for the
SHO.

I need 2 new 225/50 V700's after my little off road excursion at
Blackhawk...does anybody know what OEM car comes with that size stock?  Will
make ordering easier.

We passed Tire Rack in southbend coming back, but it was midnight and nobody
answered the door :)
