Ahh, so times have changed:-(  I remember hearing about some old Mustangs that were ordered with non-stock colors.

In the early years the 2nd in command of the plant was a 
good friend of ours.  I begged him to build me a gold SHO. 
All he had to do was change a code or punch a button I 
thought, but he said they just could not override the 
computer programs and option combinations.
