As long as it looks OK, drives OK, and isn't rusting in weird spots, forget
about it!

I had a 5-month-old '83 GT 5.0 that had the entire front-end redone when it
was hit in my buddy's driveway. Body shop did great work (Duthler Ford in
Grand Rapids), and I drove it for two more years with no issues whatsoever.

If it isn't a pristine, low-mileage collector car, it doesn't bother me.

Well, I know it has been in at least one accident.  All of the front
sheet metal was replaced with parts from a red car.  It's showing
through on the edges of panels where it has chipped.  And you can
see the white overspray under the hood in a couple of places.  If
it hadn't been 15 degrees out when I went to look at it I would
have checked it out better.  And probably wouldn't have bought it.
As it turns out though, wherever the repair was done, they did a
great job.  All of the body seams line up better on this car than they
did on the old green car which was never hit!
