[Shotimes] rear brake questions

The FAQ doesn't have a write-up on this.  Does one exist on the procedure,
parts, etc?  I like the idea of making the rear brakes actually do something
more than a token effort.  I also plan to rely on the ABS being there for me
when pressed into action (good pun, huh?).
