Just finished the front end.. everything now is all new. And the Gr-2's with
the eibach are almost as stiff as the Tokicos .
It's a whole new car with this setup, a HUGE upgrade over the stock setup.
But if there were three struts to pick. Konis, tokicos, and KYB . The KYB
would be at the bottom.
But if you go crazy stiffening up the chassis, with all the bars, urethane
and connectors (all the stiff goodies) I would pick the KYB's so you could
have a little flex somewhere and would think it will work out nicely.
Plus with some of the money you save on them you could add other things and
be at the same cost.
Im happy with them, I tried them in a few corners and was pleased. Im still
learning the car, with much different geometry than the Gen 3 its going to
be a fun car to drive. This will be the track car for California and haven't
driven an MTX aggressively on a course in 5 years, so today starts the NEW
training session.
One thing I will say that this rack and pinion sucks compared to the ZF rack
in the Gen 3. and I have to learn to stop pushing new tires until they yell
STOP IT :)
Question to all.. Has anyone adapted or tried to adapt the ZF rack in a Gen
1-2?

Did they make AGXs for the SHO at one point?
Yes, I would be interested in the AGX struts.
Kirk has tried the GR-2s in his '91+, and has liked them so far. I am a bit
concerned with using the GR-2s with the s, but the AGX look very
promising.

PS. I might try to bug KYB into making AGX struts for us again-anyone
interested?
