Since you do use them on the track, and have other mods, just go with the
plugs.

For those just tuning in, I recently discovered that my 91 had little or no
rear braking because of missing parts. There is supposed to be a lever
apparatus that runs from the valve body to the lateral arm. On my 91 this
lever apparatus was entirely missing. Thus the proportioning valves were
always restricting flow to the rear calipers.
I now have the lever apparatus ready to install. Alas, someone previously
snapped off the screw on which the lever pivots. I can see no way to get a
vice grips on the stub.
I'm pretty sick of messing with this and and just about to put SHOnut plugs
in both cars.
