Just so you know, Most decent tracks on "normal" track days will require a
instructor in the car. It does help a lot when they know the car.

Damn, twice in one day I'm agreeing with Ron - After my second session at
Blackhawk, I realized I just wasn't gettin it. Third session went out with
Mike, who wrote the article in the SHOCLub magazine describing the track.
Needless to say after his excuberance and knowledge was transferred to me it
was a whole other ball game. AT one point a Green GENII wanted to pass so I
waived him by, before 1 completed lap, he had to waive me by - why - he
didn't have entry and exits dialed in.
My 4th Session, I have already talked about. Got black flag on first lap,
dummy forgot rear windows. Esentially then I was starting from the back of
the pack. I chewed through 8 cars, all I's and II's to get to Big Dog in his
Silver III we played for one lap, I was tight on him all the way, I'm
thinkin I was large in his rear view mirror, and to my surprise on the front
straight as we come outta 7 he waives me by!! Man you can't buy that feeling
for any amount of money. I am now a firm beliver, that every track event I
go to participate in, my first session will most definately be with a Pro.
It just makes sense, if you want to get the most out of the event, learn how
to do it correctly. Tim's observation earlier this week was right on the
money, when I came off the last session I had a grin from ear to ear. Wantin
to do it again NOW!!!!
