When I get home (if I get home) the SHO will finally come out of its year
long hibernation. Engine has not been started during that time.
Question #1: what's the best way to prime the engine to build oil pressure?
I'm thinking - disable the ignition (and crank the starter), but what's the
best way to accomplish this? Unplug the DIS connectors?
Question #2: how do I know if or when I've built up the proper oil
pressure?
Question #3: I'm a little worried about the synchros in the trans. My car
is a 6/91 build. Do I have paper/fiber or brass? If I have the
paper/fiber, what are the symptoms of dried out synchros?
Finally, any other systems and/or noises I should pay close attention to
when I take it out for its first drive?
