I sense the tongue-in-cheek, but......probably not. The V10 is most likely
based on market research to stay ahead of the other German guys down the
road. Chrysler & Ford seemed to be able to develop V10s without dropping a
few trillion dollars on an F1 effort!!

Oh, so the V10 engine in the upcoming BMW M5 and M6 that BMW is so proudly
touting as F.1 based is not really based upon their engineering in F.1?
