You know, this is actually pretty funny.  Wonder if Joe is looking for a
job.  He should be able to find a job in the Bush administration.

"I don't look at this as a Ford project just beause they happen to own
Cosworth," said Joe Negri, IRL program manager for GM. "It's no
different than Honda and Ilmor teamming up. Ford isn't competing here
and this is good business for Cosworth"

They can say whatever they want on their website, but Cosworth belongs to
Ford and it is common knowledge that Cosworth are Ford .  Ford-Cosworth
engines is usually shown on the credits.  Can you imagine all the snickering
at Northhampton?
