It's down on the heater plenum, underneath the glove compartment.  Your symptom is
one of the three standard failure symptoms, I think.  Usually they blow high all the
time, but they can quit altogether, like mine did, or they work in only one or two
positions of the EATC.  

Empty and swing down the glove compartment door.  There are two plastic modules that
screw into the inner corner of the plenum, more or less behind and below the inside
hinge of the GC door.  The one to the rear is the one you want.  It uses 8 mm (I
think...it's been several months) screws, and there is one connector with about 5
wires.  It sticks into the plenum a ways....there is a transistor with a cooling
base that goes way inside.  Joseph Van Oss used to rebuild them, but the parts are
getting scarce.  You can get one at a yard from an EATC car of similar age, or a new
one is about $135 discounted.  Expensive, but they last a while, and you could
transfer it to another car later, or sell it....they will be valuable as time goes
by.
