Sorry Don, I didn't mean to bash SHO Club, I just remembered that you
posted a few people using the classifieds had some problems, not
relating to the actual club at all. Just wanted to let the list know
about another scam that I hadn't heard of yet.

Just to clarify:
First, thanks Bill, for reporting this scam. it is known,
but not everyone may rememeber, be aware or even read the
notices.
Second, SHOclub.com and I haven't had a problem with
scammers, we are just doing our duty as good web citizens to
let people know (like you did) when we hear of scams, or
people that don't send stuff that is paid for, or pay for
stuff that is sent. And the ever present West AFrica buyer!
NOTE: that ALL groups that I know of have the same
problems with scams/spam etc. We are not unique or
worse/better than a lot of other sites on the web.
I know you didn't mean for it to sound bad for SHOclub, but
I know some people might read it that way, so I just wanted
to clarify.
We did have a small problems with SPAMMERS, but we changed
our site to take care of that. Cost me about an extra
two-three hours a week to use the new code on every ad, but
if we prevent more spamming, then that is worth it.
